The short version: if we take your money and cannot deliver what you paid for, you get a full refund. Ask us by email and we will reply within two business days.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to purchases made from Grandfield Media Private Limited and from the products we operate. Individual products publish their own refund policy on their own site with the specific rules for that product. Where a product's own policy is more generous or more specific, that policy applies to that purchase. This page describes our standard across everything we sell.
2. Everything we sell is digital
Our products are digital goods and online services, delivered immediately on payment. There is nothing to return physically, so a refund means reversing the payment, not shipping an item back.
3. When you get a refund
We refund in full, without argument, in these situations:
- We could not deliver. Payment succeeded but the product, access or domain was never provided. Where this can be detected automatically, the refund is issued automatically without you having to ask.
- You were charged twice for the same purchase.
- You were charged in error or without authorisation, once verified.
- The product is materially not as described on the page where you bought it, and we cannot correct it.
- A fault on our side makes the product unusable and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time.
4. When a refund is not available
- Change of mind after delivery. Once a digital product has been delivered, downloaded or activated, and it is working as described, we do not refund a change of mind. This is why we offer free previews and trials wherever we can, so you can see exactly what you are buying before paying.
- Third-party costs already spent on your behalf. Where a purchase includes something we buy for you and register in your name, such as a domain name, that cost is spent with the registrar the moment it is registered and cannot be recovered.
- Breach of terms. Where access has been ended because of a breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Time already served on a subscription period you have used.
5. How to request a refund
- Email contact@grandfieldmedia.com from the address you used to buy, or use the support channel of the product concerned.
- Include the order or transaction reference, the date and the amount.
- Tell us briefly what went wrong.
We acknowledge every request within two business days and tell you our decision, with the reason, in the same reply wherever we can.
6. How refunds are paid
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot send a refund to a different card, account or person.
- We initiate the refund with our payment provider within 5 business days of approving it.
- The money typically appears on your statement within 5 to 7 business days after that, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Refunds are issued in the original currency. We are not responsible for exchange rate differences or foreign transaction fees applied by your bank.
- We do not charge a processing fee for a refund.
7. Partial refunds
Where only part of a purchase failed, or where a service was used for part of a paid period before a fault, we may offer a proportionate partial refund. We will always explain how the amount was calculated.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. A refund from us is almost always faster than a bank dispute. If you do raise a chargeback, we will cooperate fully with your bank and provide the transaction and delivery records.
9. Product-specific policies
For MakeMySiteToday, the full refund policy is published at makemysitetoday.com/refund. In summary: building and previewing sites is free and never asks for a card, and if the domain cannot be delivered after payment the refund is automatic.
